Solution to common problems with synthetic resin tiles!

Nowadays, synthetic resin tiles are becoming increasingly popular. During installation and use, we often encounter some problems. Foshan Xingfa Tile Industry answers some common questions about synthetic resin tiles:

Question 1: When installing a synthetic resin tile roof, accidentally drilling a hole, what can be used to fill it?

Answer: Misdrilled holes can be filled with glass glue, and once filled, they can be used with confidence without leaking water.

Question 2: Some synthetic resin tile roofs make a sound when strong winds blow by. What is the reason for this? How should we solve it?

Answer: If there is no waterproof layer laid when installing synthetic resin tiles, and the spacing between purlins is relatively large, or if the self tapping screws are tightened when fixing the tiles of synthetic resin tiles, there may be a sound when strong wind blows. So during installation, the purlins should be strictly installed according to the specifications of synthetic resin tiles to lay the corresponding distance of the purlins. When tightening the tiles, do not tighten them too tightly, but also do not loosen them too much. If the tiles are not fixed properly, it is easy to cause water leakage. In addition, when the weather is extremely cold or hot, synthetic resin tiles will shrink or expand, causing noise due to pulling, which is the reason for thermal expansion and contraction.

Question 3: Does synthetic resin tiles make a loud sound when it rains?

Answer: Because synthetic resin tiles themselves have the function of sound insulation and noise reduction, even without a waterproof layer, the sound of rain can be basically isolated; If a waterproof layer is also laid, there will be even less noise.

Question 4: How to solve the problem of indoor water dripping on synthetic resin tile roofs in winter?

Answer: The reason why synthetic resin tile roofs drip water is because the indoor temperature is high in winter and the outdoor temperature is low. When cold and hot air flow meets on synthetic resin tile roofs, water droplets will be produced, which is a common physical "condensation" phenomenon. And synthetic resin tiles are not dense enough to absorb water, so if the water droplets condense too much, they will drip down. Solution: To provide insulation for the roof, a waterproof layer can be laid under synthetic resin tiles or to enhance indoor ventilation and air permeability, so as to prevent water dripping.
